Beryl (Arch64) issue

My beryl seems to be acting it up, I managed to set it up to my likings and everything and once I left my computer for a few hours of it being shutoff, I came back to my computer and tried to start up beryl-xgl. Problem is that the screen goes a really bright white, to the point where I can't select any options because I can't see them. I'm still able to rotate the cube, so I know beryl is working, but I can't see any options or windows. If this is a common error some help would be very appreciated, otherwise if needed I'll post my xorg.conf and any other code snippet needed.
