Couldn't boot into the system after AGESA got updated ComboAM5 PI 1.2.0.3e with my BIOS. It got stuck on the "initial ramdisk" step. Also it broke every other linux live usb I have in the same way.
Tried almost everything, but couldn't downgrade because ASUS marked the update as irreversable. In the past, I have tried enabling PBO, but it led to insane system instability. After some time banging my head against the bios settings, I've thought to myself "Wouldn't it be funny, if it loaded with PBO". And so it did. (but broke my btrfs partition after system freeze forced me to force shutdown)
So I have no idea now how to fix it and what to blame.
Previous failed solution:
This led chatgpt (sorry) to the conclusion that setting amd_pstate to passive and processor.max_cstate to 5 would fix stuff.
