I’d like to suggest improving the clarity of the latest news regarding Plasma 6.4.0 and the manual intervention required for X11 users.
Currently, the message says:
“Plasma 6.4.0 will need manual intervention if you are on X11.”
However, this wording is misleading because X11 is used by many desktop environments, not only KDE Plasma. The packages mentioned, plasma-x11-session and kwin-x11, are specific to KDE Plasma, but some users may not be aware of this distinction and could mistakenly think it applies to other environments like XFCE.
A clearer and more precise headline such as:
“Plasma 6.4.0 will need manual intervention if you are running KDE Plasma on X11”
would avoid confusion and save time for users unfamiliar with these details.
Best Regards.

Your version is clearer but not 100% accurate.
Looking at plasma-x11-session it's only needed for users of display managers . startx/xinit users of kde plasma are not affected.
I don't remember if arch news items have been changed after posting, but arch devs are the only ones that can and very few of them frequent the forum.
Try posting on archlinux general mailing list.
Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.
clean chroot building not flexible enough ?

Who? I really can't imagine any Arch user not knowing what Plasma and making this mistake, or thinking they have to do something with Plasma to run XFCE.
