About 2 weeks ago. Choosing from a tens of thousands long list of available packages, I could not find a way to fast scroll the list. I took me ages of patient scrolling to get to the next package that I wanted.
A few weeks prior, the menu offered a box area, where you simply typed in the extra packages you wanted. It was better then.
Is there a way to fast scroll the list?

Press the "/" key to enter search mode and then use the tab key to select individual packages. Additional shortcuts are listed in the help menu (Ctrl+h).

not using archinstall but the manual way and just give pacstrap what you want - or even do a minimal insall with just
pacstrap -K /mnt base
then arch-chroot and regular
pacman -S <package>
if you waste time by scanning through long lists to find something specific you doing it wrong
