Yesterday, I just encountered memory leak from my program and it uses SDL2 with SDL3 + SDL2_compat and it has memory leak, by using valgrind/libasan it seems to all result to nvidia-dkms, and by testing with a GLFW program, it also have memory leak although that's just a simple window. For the log, you can go to here

Setup clean chroot building to build with debug symbols, then rerun the test.
PLease edit your post to clarify that link is to a bugreport you created upstream and not just a log.
Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.
clean chroot building not flexible enough ?
Try clean chroot manager by graysky

This is most likely normal. If you pressure the memory again after the "leak" does that not get cleaned up eventually? AFAIK it's somewhat normal that the driver libs don't immediately clean up stuff if it's not completely necessary. Other than that if this is an actual bug in nvidia-470xx then you are probably SoL but you'd likely want to bring this up on the nvidia forums, there's little there can be done about this here.
