Hi All,
Some time ago I've installed "megasync-bin" package from AUR, which has "freeimage" in dependencies. At the time of this installation there was such a "freeimage" package in AUR (ver. 3.18.0-23) which provided this "freeimage" dependency at that time.
Recently when updating packages (using "yay" on a daily basis) I've got a notice that "freeimage" package is no longer in AUR. So, I've checked why it is needed, checked info about "megasync-bin" package on AUR and noticed that "freeimage" dependency is now resolved by "freeimage-vpinball-git" package.
So, I've removed "megasync-bin" package and install it again, so "freeimage" packaged has been removed, "freeimage-vpinball-git" has been installed (which provides "freeimage" dependency this time) and no more notice from "yay", but...
My question is: why this original "freeimage" package has been removed from AUR? I've checked "aur-requests" mailing list searching for "freeimage" name, but no such request has ever been sent. So what may be the reason this "freeimage" package suddenly disappeared?

P.S. I've tried to send this message to aur-general mailing list, but it "has been rejected by Rspamd". The postmaster of this mailing list is not responding. Then tried to ask for whitelisting of my email on arch-general mailing list - the same result: rejected, postmaster not responding... so I try here...

Thank you for the link! I didn't know there is such "todo list" for arch developers. Is there any reference link to this todo list on Arch Wiki or this is just a known link when you are Arch developer/maintainer?

I am not sure if it is linked from the wiki but there is a link from the sidebar of https://archlinux.org/ to https://archlinux.org/todo/.
