I installed Faugus launcher yesterday and when I'm trying to open a store (e.g Epic store or Ubisoft Connect), I get a segfault from gnome-shell. This was working fine in flatpak so I'm assuming it is caused (probably) by mesa 25.2 ? Any ideas are welcome.

The bcktrace is probably longer.

Oh that second link is very cool. I've actually found a report on the gnome issue tracker so I posted the backtrace there.

https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/mutter/-/issues/4198 but yes, probably a duplicate.

For some reason I thought it wasn't working even when "Use Wayland driver" was de-selected. Maybe I was tired. Today I installed Hyprland to see if it's behaving differently, then it also had issues launching, but when I de-selected "Use Wayland driver" from the Faugus options I was able to open Ubisoft Connect in both Hyprland and Gnome-Shell. So I will consider this thread solved but hopefully we get a fix in mutter for it.
