kernel panic after update

Hi,

yesterday I updated my system (pacman -Su) and now I get a kernel panic on bootup:

...
kinit: /sbin/init: Accessing a corrupted shared library
Kernel panic - not syncing: Attempted to kill init!
...

After these messages I continually get messages about spurious ack...

I neither can chroot in my system, because I get a similar error-message: "/bin/bash: Accessing a corrupted shared library".

I don't know what to do.

Thanks for any help.

Re: kernel panic after update

You can boot from install cd and then make chroot. After then you can try to make new update.

Re: kernel panic after update

Did you read what I wrote?

I neither can chroot in my system, because I get a similar error-message: "/bin/bash: Accessing a corrupted shared library".

So, no I can't chroot from the install cd!
