Dear Arch gurus,
I bought a new WD Passport USB drive (5TB), and I spent hours copying my backups there.
However, every time I connect this drive to an usb port I notice this message:
[19815.228983] usb 4-1.1: new SuperSpeed USB device number 8 using xhci_hcd
[19815.240451] usb 4-1.1: New USB device found, idVendor=1058, idProduct=260d, bcdDevice=20.07

[19816.276574] ses 0:0:0:1: Failed to bind enclosure -19
I tried all usb ports but I always see the last 3 lines in dmesg (but not other i/o errors.)
The few discussions I found about that message are about failing Passport drives (!!!) and data corruption, so I checked... SMART shows no errors in "attributes", and the short self-test passes. "Check filesystem" in Gnome Disks says "undamaged".
Any idea what's going on?

Um, maybe it wasn't as important as I thought. It seems "SES" is needed "to enable features such as password protection, LED control, and access to the unit label". I don't used hardware encryption anyway, just noticed the LED keeps blinking even after disconnecting the drive but nothing else.
