[Resolved] Gemini Code Assist can not authenticate in VSCode

Arch Fresh Install with KDE (plasma-desktop) + VSCode  + Firefox + Chromium [ not much else ]
I need help in authenticating and enabling 'Gemini Code Assist' extension in vscode.
Installed VSCode, and gemini code assist extn.
Upon starting code assist, it asks me to authenticate - which launches either firefox or chromium.
Upon authenticating in the browser and returning to vscode, this extn should be enabled and active.
It does not happen. I either see a perpetually spinning circle.

I don't know how to run the extension in debug mode or where it stores logs.

I did not have kwalletmanager earlier. Installed it. But it doesn't seem to make a difference.

I dual boot it with debian, and both vscode  + extn work fine there.

TIA

[Never Mind. Issue Resolved. DNS Resolution wasn't working on a minimal setup ]
