Last week my Android VMs started powering off the computer they are on and I don't remember doing any changes to the machine that will cause that. Since then I reinstalled the system, cleaned and checked all the components on the real machine, switched to previous versions of Genymotion, though nothing changed. I couldn't see anything wrong when viewing journalctl; I think nothing gets recorded when that happens.
I also don't think there is any issue with virtualization because my VMs from VMWare work fine for hours.
I would be glad to provide other information if needed.

Tried different things and I saw no difference. Switched from linux to linux-lts and it ran fine for multiple hours. I won't mark this as solved yet, as I still can't pinpoint what exactly is wrong.

Didn't manage to find a solution. Happens in linux-lts and linux-mainstream too.
