Hi, recently my internet began to not work, showing i was online but not being able to acess anything, i them found someone with the same wifi card as me (https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=307612)and said downgrading one version of linux firmware for realtek solved, after i tried that, my wifi networ manager stopped showing completally in the network manager, and could only connect online via ethernet wich i am now at.
Im using kde-plasma for DE

Did you try a complete shutdown of the machine, instead of a reboot to see if the wifi card reappeared?
Does dmesg show the card or the firmware being loaded?
You can post dmesg and journactl output using
dmesg | curl -F 'file=@-' 0x0.st
journalctl -b | curl -F 'file=@-' 0x0.stAlso, to verify firmware version installed, what does
pacman -Q linux-firmware-realtekgive?
Alex.

About the output of the output of
dmesg | curl -F 'file=@-' 0x0.st
journalctl -b | curl -F 'file=@-' 0x0.st
it gave me:
http://0x0.st/KiCf.txt for
pacman -Q linux-firmware-realtek
its: linux-firmware-realtek 20250708-1
Im om a laptop, but i tried forced shutoff and also did not work

lspci -k -D -s 02:00.0Did you install but not rebuild https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/8852be-dkms-git ??
The device isn't picked up by any kernel module at all, smells blacklisted - that's not the firmware.

Thank you seth, i did not rebuild the aur package i did not know i had to do that im sorry i looked online drivers for my wifi card and one of the searches linked me to the aur package and i installed via yay bot did not rebuild, but now my home wifi shows and connect correctly, but now it show's two kernel modules on

The device is actually supported by an in-tree module (rtw89_8852be) since 6.1 or so - the AUR driver is essentially just "in the way" (unless the in-tree module picks up the device but then doesn't work™ - for which so far there's no indication because the in-tree module gets shadowed by your AUR driver)
You should™ be able to just uninstall the dkms module from the package (and the package) and then have the chip picked up by the in-tree module and function this way.
Otherwise please post updated journal, lspci -k and in doubt

The git module and (as suspected) its black-list are still in place, maybe remnants in the initramfs (and you need to run mkinitcpio)?

The AUR package is still fully installed.
https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Dynami … ve_modules
Then remove the package.
Whether or not you'll have to rebuild the initramfs wel'll see.
This is if you want to move on using the in-tree module, you /can/ continue to use the dkms module from the AUR but will have to remember to update it (dkms rebuilds automatically but every now and then the old sources will just become incompatible w/ the newer kernel)
