ati x1800 problems

First off im not sure where to post this at so i thought i would start here due to everytime i do post here it gets solved.

Im having a problem trying to beryl to run on arch using the fglrx drivers, i would use the xf86-input-ati drivers but the x1800 (r530 chip) is not supported, has anyone else been able to to aiglx to run with the fglrx drivers and if so HOW... thanks

Hi crashbox,
the current fglrx driver doesn't support AIGLX; you need to use Xgl instead
