Does anyone know how to get the gaim-applet? I've tried ./configure --enable-panel which according to the README will put an applet under the Network section. I don't even have a network section..
Has anyone been able to install galeon or evolution? They both complain about gnomeConf.sh which I found to be a gnome 1.4 thing.. will they not work with Gnome 2.0?

Arch Linux doesn't support the obsolete and deprecrated GNOME1.4 environment, only GNOME2.
GAIM CVS has GTK2/GNOME2 support; not as a panel applet, but as a status docklet - which is a feature not due out till GNOME2.2, but that is due in a week or two, so it won'tbe long. ^,^
