ESP mounting

I don't understand the process of mounting ESP to /efi/, then mount binding it with /boot. Please, I want to clarify as much as possible

I'm not aware of any boot method that does that.

Systemd by default mounts an Efi System Partition as /efi .
Some bootloader programs (like rEFInd) use that, some don't..
grub is often setup to look for an ESP at /boot/efi .

On such systems there are 2 ways to access the ESP : /efi AND /boot/efi .

An analogy that may help to understand this :
In your closet there's a drawer that holds socks and underwear .

One familiy member never wears socks, so refers to it as the underwear drawer.
Another family member always wears socks and refers to that drawer as the socks drawer.

Help i created and /efi folder and mounted ESP to it
But when i wrote the grub-install you gave it said
Grub-install : error : /efi doesn't look like an EFI partition
What should i do?
