beyond kernel image ?

hi *,

is the beyond kernel image still maintained ? (I can't find it in AUR archiv)
They are in the pacman archiv but with an old version - there is allready a 2.6.20 release (http://iphitus.loudas.com/beyond/2.6.20/) - or did i get it wrong ? maybe somebody can make this clear for me :-)

thx

best regards,
tobi

Re: beyond kernel image ?

kernel26beyond is an official package, so you won't find it in the AUR. It's in the extra repo.

iphitus maintains both the beyond patchset and the kernel26beyond package. He has not yet officially announced 2.6.20-beyond1, so that link you provided may not be final.

If you're in a hurry, you could build your own 2.6.20-beyond using ABS.

Re: beyond kernel image ?

...that was fast - thx !
that mean no offical package is available in the aur archiv ? (but there is a "extra" option in the "web side" ?)
To use iphitus not officially announced patchset i can create my own package using abs. yes, make sense.
But i'm not in a hurry so i will just use my own kernel with the needed patches for now (made with the great abs kernel script) and wait until iphitus announce a new kernel26beyond package.

The official repos and the AUR are quite separate. I'm not sure why the AUR's Location drop-down includes current, extra, and unstable, but they have no effect there.
