Trying to Build Openboard from source

Hello everyone.  I'm trying to build Openboard which is an interactive whiteboard tool, but there's some certain features I'd like to get rid of but i do not know what to do because I'm not at all versed in doing anything like this with opensource software because I've never done this before, but i really need this for something.

I need to have the Stylus Palette without any background and or borders what so ever,  when I'm in desktop mode. basically having  the tools (pen , eraser , etc) in the palette but without the grey background's and border (completely removed or completely transparent). I also want to get rid of some of the tools in the stylus palette which i rarely be using.

I'd really appreciate any assistance with this.

Are you using https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/openboard ?

If not, please try building & installing  See https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Arch_User_Repository if you're not familiar with aur .

Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.

clean chroot building not flexible enough ?
Try clean chroot manager by graysky
