Choppy audio with bluetooth and multiple devices

Hi,

Haven't played for a while, I connected my Xbox One wireless controller via bluetooth on the weekend, but I suddenly get
really choppy audio (stutter) on my bluetooth headset (WH-1000XM3), while both are connected (system wide).
I played in this combo for a long time, and had almost no problems.
My bluetooth dongle is a tp-link (lsusb says: Cambridge Silicon Radio, Ltd Bluetooth Dongle).

What I tried to solve the issue:
Downgrading various packages (pipewire, bluez) to the last version, changing the kernel to lts, changing wireplumber for pipewire-media-session.
Nothing solved the issue. Connecting the controller via cable does work without a problem.

The only pipewire related errors in my journal which started happening in october where these (that is why I tried downgrading it) (in really large amounts):

plasmashell[1031]: remote error:  -32 no more input formats
kwin_wayland[873]: PipeWire remote error:  no more input formats
wp-event-dispatcher: <WpAsyncEventHook:0x55e7dc41cb10> failed: <WpSiStandardLink:0x55e7dc7cbc10> link failed: 1 of 1 PipeWire links failed to activate

Looking through the journal, I also found thisin large amounts (At the day I tried the controller):

Bluetooth: hci0: unexpected event for opcode 0x0000 (Once at boot)
Bluetooth: hci0: link tx timeout (several times per second)

Does anyone have an idea and could help me?

Re: Choppy audio with bluetooth and multiple devices

Have you tried

sudo systemctl restart bluetooth.service

?

Yes I did several times in different situations.
I also tried changing the audio profile of the headset from LDAC to AptX, AAC or SBC but it gets way worse with any of it,
the volume will change every seconds, reducing/increasing volume will immediately change it back up.
I tried fresh bluetooth config files for bluez, the headset will sometimes show up as LE_WH1003XM3 and
sometimes as WH1003XM3, don't know if this is something to look after.

As a last effort i will maybe try to get hold of a newer bluetooth adapter with bluetooth 5>, since this is an old 4.
Each device on its own works fine. My guitar amp works alongside my headset without any problem.

I also tried the config changes from 'Continually connect/disconnect with TP-LINK UB400 and Xbox controller' from the arch wiki, but it did not change anything.
