Hi everyone,
I’m having a strange sound issue on a TigerLake-based laptop.
In alsamixer, I can see three controls: Speaker, Master, and Headphone.
Speaker works fine on its own.
But Headphone seems to control both the headphone output and the laptop’s low-frequency (bass) speakers.
When no headphones are plugged in, everything sounds perfect.
However, once I connect headphones:
The Speaker level drops to 0
The Headphone stays at 100
And I get audio simultaneously from both the headphones and the bass speakers.
Adjusting any of the sliders in alsamixer didn’t make any difference.
Has anyone encountered this issue or found a solution/workaround for TigerLake audio?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

there is advanced/detailed controls under amixer.
Check controls when headphone plugged and not plugged then notice whats changes there.
