[SOLVED]laptop dGPU nvidia 4070 is missing?
Greetings,
Running with Tuxedo stellaris slim 15 laptop with intel 14900HX and intel Iris XE integrated gpu and nvidia 4070 dedicated GPU
noticed yesterday that dedicated gpu 4070 isnt firing up. running up-to-date archlinux.
installed zen-kernel alongisde if it was kernel related. havent gotten time to test yet with LTS.
Tried reinstalling nvidia-open dkms but problem persists.
Tried installing Froggin familys vulkan dev drivers, wouldnt install due version mismatches
Tried installing older versions through pacman -U but would have required to install older kernels aswell.
Any ideas? im little pressed on time to properly try to diagnose this..
if its kernel/microcode/nvidia issue or is the GPU failing on me.

Is this a dual boot system? It kinda looks like what can happen when Windows hibernates.

Nope. Archlinux only on this laptop

I tried setting dGPU only in bios settings. that Borked the whole screen. only black. not even the manufacturer splash image. but based on led lights it went through to ssdm for login.
Had to soft reset the CMOS on cold boot. it gave me back screen and access to bios.
switched back to hybrid mode and after boot im back on desktop and functioning GPU.
Marking this as solved.
Will send report to tuxedocomputers though.
