[SOLVED] No package update available since 2025.11.05 on host

Running an up to date Arch OS as of 2025.11.05, I've been seeing "There is nothing to do" since then, when doing my daily routine package update with `sudo pacman -Syu`. Three days is an somewhat long lull in package updates, I'm beginning to wonder if somethin's cookin'.

> uname -a
Linux HOST 6.17.7-arch1-1 #1 SMP PREEMPT_DYNAMIC Sun, 02 Nov 2025 17:27:22 +0000 x86_64 GNU/Linux

but looking up my mirror list, and recent packages updates:

> grep -A2 '\[core\]' /etc/pacman.conf
[core]
Include = /etc/pacman.d/mirrorlist

> curl -s 'https://archlinux.org/feeds/packages/'
...

...

shows 50 packages overall, that are ready for an update (only 2 shown above)... of which zero are installed on the HOST

> sed -n 's/<item>/\n/g;/<\/item>/p' < <(curl -s 'https://archlinux.org/feeds/packages/') | wc -l
50
> curl -s 'https://archlinux.org/feeds/packages/' | grep -oP '<title>\K[^ ]*' | xargs pacman -Ss 2>&1 | grep -i "installed" # returns zilch

So it seems that:
- the HOST's system is current,
- 50 packages are ready for an update,
- but not one of those packages is already installed on the HOST,
- system clock is fine,
- Pacman just does its job
- as much [core] as [extra]  are up to date after `sudo pacman -Syy` to force DB refresh.

Still I'm wondering, that all devs having gone fishing at the same time, for the last three days, and so no package update is currently available is not impossible but improbable.

Or is it one of those stabilization periods in upstream releases or a maintainer coordination hoopla going on ?
Or am I missing something ?

Change the mirror you are using.

All is well. Did not think about a mirror failing and that is exactly what happened. Tx @Allan.
