Issues with nvidia drivers

I am running an RTX 4060 Ti 8GB with a Ryzen 5 5600G CPU. I've been trying to get the proprietary Nvidia drivers to work correctly for several days without success.
During the archinstall process, I selected the proprietary Nvidia drivers option. After the installation, I booted into my new system and experienced significant lag when attempting to play a game. Upon investigation, I found that the game was using the Zink Vulkan translator, indicating that the dedicated Nvidia GPU was not being utilized correctly.
I have since tried reinstalling various kernels and all related drivers, but the problem persists. Furthermore, when I run the nvidia-smi command in the terminal, it returns an error message stating that it "couldn't communicate with my nvidia driver". This confirms that the drivers are not functioning as expected.
I am looking for guidance on how to properly configure my system to use the Nvidia GPU and drivers. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Issues with nvidia drivers

Please post your complete system journal for the boot:

sudo journalctl -b | curl -F 'file=@-' 0x0.st

If this is on X11 or xwayland, please also post your Xorg log, https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Xorg#General (the link explains where to find it, please post the file, not some random grep examples)
