Funny audio issue

Hey folks. Since a couple of weeks I got a funny issue with audio on my archnlinux (6.17.5-arch1-1 kernel).
Whenever there is no audio output, even for a second, I can not resume it. Playback (e.G. in Rhythmbox) continues, but I can't hear anything until I do "systemctl --user restart pulseaudio". Then playback continues immediately.
I checked if pulseaudio service is running and all seems quite fine, but mute.
Does anybody have a hint that might point me into the right direction?
Thanks in advance

What kind of audio output is this?
Does

snd_hda_codec_hdmi.enable_silent_stream=1

help?

Re: Funny audio issue

Whatever audio is just playing. Rhythmbox music, Youtube videos, videos in VLC, you name it.
I am connecting a pair of speakers directly to the mainboard or sometimes using a USB adapter. Happens with both.
So the scenario is like this:
I am listening to music, press Pause for a second, resume and can't hear anything anymore.

Check your system journal for pulseaudio failures and consider moving on to pipewire/wireplumber.
