VirtualBox - UI freezes when trying to set shared dir

Hello,
as per the title, when I select my VM and to right click > Settings > Shared Folders > + > Folder Path and I click the down arrow, I just see two options: <not selected> and Other. Clicking on Other freezes the UI, with no possibility at all to interact with the window.

I also tried to set the QT_QPA_PLATFORM environment variable before launching Virtualbox, but the result is the same.
