davinci resolve detects no audio devices

my audio was working in resolve up to this point, but today it decided that it would detect no audio devices. even though the nodes are created, and no other software has this issue.

first, when i started playback it had no audio. so i went and checked in Davinci Resolve > Preferences > Video and Audio I/O, and saw that both Capture and Monitor device says None. i don't know what went wrong, or how should i go about finding out.

tried reinstalling the package, though i only uninstalled with

sudo pacman -R

instead of

-Rcns

or any of the sort.

pw-cli ls Node also confirms that the nodes are there, the app being connected to the sinks.

any idea or help would be appreciated. need it fixed asap
