I installed Arch Linux Base Package, then installed X server, then installed fluxbox and generated a config file with xorgconfig utility. Then I installed the latest NVidia Drivers from their homepage, removed the "exec wdm" line for .xinitrc and added "exec startfluxbox" and everything works fine with an exception. When I try to CTRL+ALT+F1 through F7 the screen goes in power save mode and I cannot bring it back on except if I restart the system. The same happends when I exit fluxbox by normal means. Did I forgot to do something?

If you don't install official pkg from archlinux repo its hard for somebody to help you.Try pacman -Ss nvidia, pacman -S nvidia(what you need),
and nvidia-xconfig.

It seems that I have the same problem except that I can go back to X without rebooting and that I can log into the VCs, even if I see nothing, it does what I tell it to do.
See http://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=30571
I think this bug occurs when X launches an extra "sub module fb" because I remember well all the problems that I had to make the framebuffer work with an nVidia.
However, I don't know how to tell X not to launch this sub module, just to see if it works without.
Any help ?
