lenovo ideapad slim 3i 15IRH8 battery drain on arch

hi, ever since i switched from kde to gnome on my laptop, i have noticed a lot of battery drain even in balanced power mode (power-profiles-daemon), any way to solve this? thanks

- when on battery the powermode should be set on powersave / quiet.
- install powertop and lookup for what is consuming power, set to auto the ones that are suspicious.
- check if you have /sys/module/pcie_aspm/parameters/policy set to powersupersave when on battery, maybe power-profiles-daemon doesn't set it.
- lower the refresh rate of the screen.
- lower the brightness to <=30%.
- if is a hybrid laptop check if is correctly configured according to the Wiki PRIME
- choose another lightweight DE.
