NVIDIA gpu not working on dual booted + hybrid graphics laptop

I have nvidia rtx 3070 ti + amd integrated graphics. Using i3 + X11. After a recent update my xrandr stopped detecting the HDMI connection even though everything works properly when I switch to windows. After checking nvidia-smi I can see my gpu doesn't seem to be on. I found some issues listed on https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/NVIDIA/Troubleshooting but nothing seemed to work.
