Why are there symlinks in the / directory?

bin, lib, lib64 & sbin.

For compatibility with software that treats /bin /usr/bin and /sbin as three separate locations while Arch only supports a /usr/bin similarly for /lib and on x86_64 Arch lib64 is the default /usr/lib as well.

Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.

clean chroot building not flexible enough ?
Try clean chroot manager by graysky
