Hi,
In the log I am seeing these messages;
dbus-broker-launch[789]: Service file '/usr/share/dbus-1/services/org.knopwob.dunst.service' is not named after the D-Bus name 'org.freedesktop.Notifications'.
dbus-broker-launch[789]: Service file '/usr/share/dbus-1/services/org.xfce.Thunar.FileManager1.service' is not named after the D-Bus name 'org.freedesktop.FileManager1'
dbus-broker-launch[789]: Service file '/usr/share/dbus-1/services/org.xfce.Tumbler.Cache1.service' is not named after the D-Bus name 'org.freedesktop.thumbnails.Cache1'.
dbus-broker-launch[789]: Service file '/usr/share/dbus-1/services/org.xfce.Tumbler.Manager1.service' is not named after the D-Bus name 'org.freedesktop.thumbnails.Manager1'.
dbus-broker-launch[789]: Service file '/usr/share/dbus-1/services/org.xfce.Tumbler.Thumbnailer1.service' is not named after the D-Bus name 'org.freedesktop.thumbnails.Thumbnailer1'.From some reading/research I have been doing on this, it's been saying that D-Bus has changed, and that simply developers of their projects need to update their code to these new changes is all.
I'm not sure if this is 100% correct, we just need to wait on the developers upstream, or if there is something I can do on my end to correct this?
THANKS

This is just noise from dbus-broker, there's absolutely no requirement in any specification (for now…) to have the filename aligned w/ the service name.
As a matter of fact: that'd not even a reasonable approach because multiple implementations can provide the same dbus-activated service.
Otoh, while warning you about nonsense, it will also fail hard on minor typos, see dbus-unbreaker
