I have kde-unstable enabled and the only two things I can pin it down to breaking kscreen is either kwin 6.5.4-4 or qt6-base 6.11.0beta1-(1)2. When entering Display Configuration nothing is present. Its a blank page, with an error message "No KScreen backend found. Please check your KScreen installation."
edit:
update to libkscreen fixed it. local/libkscreen 6.5.4-2

I ran into the same issue. Have you figured out what needs to be downgraded yet?
