I installed bottles from AUR and whenever I try to run .exe with bottles wine throws this error at the end:
09:18:12 (INFO) Executing command: /home/user/.local/share/bottles/runners/soda-9.0-1/bin/wine64 /path/to/file.exe
wineserver: using server-side synchronization.
wine: could not load kernel32.dll, status c0000135I tried to run executables shipped with the bottle itself:
I tried Internet Explorer, and it worked and the app launched as expected.
anyways Windows Media Player didn't run, but it also didn't show any error message which is weird.
another issue which potentially related as I guess, is that when I try to run Windows command line, kitty opens and shows this message:
Failed to launch child: sh -c '/home/user/.local/share/bottles/runners/soda-9.0-1/bin/wine64 cmd'
With error: No such file or directory
Press Enter or Esc to exitdid anyone install bottles from AUR and have any of this issues?
does anyone know the reasons behind them and how to solve them?
and lastly does the flatpak version work smoothly on Arch Linux without these issues?

The Bottles developers strongly recommend that users install Bottles through Flatpak as it is used for sandboxing.
what are you trying to run with wine?

Okay I am installing flatpak version and I will try running the executable with it.
As for what I am trying to run it is a library app, I don't think the executable is related to the issue because I searched the internet for this error "could not load kernel32.dll", and I found other people how faced the same issue, but they were using the Flatpak version.
