How to get the modul into the kernel?

Hi,

I had to reinstall my arch (new disc) so I want to install my network card now.

The modul for my network card is eepro100. When I typed lsmod | grep eepro100 before reinstall, I got:

eepro100     27152  0
mii          4992   2 e100,eepro100

and for command ifconfig -a I got also eth0 in the report.

But now, for lsmod | grep eepro100 I get a little different report:

eepro100     27152  0
mii          4992   1 eepro100

and in the report of ifconfig -a is the eth0 missing.

Why? I just typed modprobe eepro100 after the new intall. Is something what I have forgot?
