could not find all required packages: python <=3.11

Hi,

I get this error from yay when trying to upgrade a few AUR packages:

could not find all required packages: python <=3.11

However, I installed python3.11 from AUR. Didn't help.

1) Is that a yay problem or arch problem?
2) If it's arch, how do I solve it?

Thanks

Re: could not find all required packages: python <=3.11

Which package does still depend on python 3.11?

Currently yay doesn't show which one exactly requires 3.11. So one of these:

Re: could not find all required packages: python <=3.11

Figure out which one it is and petition the maintainer to fix their PKGBUILD. The 'python' package will never be '<=3.11' unless you rollback your entire system to ~February 2024...

Mod note: moving to AUR Issues.

returns nothing.

Strange. So this is a yay error. Will ask there.

Thanks
