Jack headset not working

I recently got a DROP PC38X SCWH17, but they aren't detected by my Arch Linux system.
I'm not very knowledgeable on how sound works on Linux, but here's information I think is useful:
I use pipewire and pwvucontrol doesn't show the headphones, but everything else works just fine.
It might be an issue with it being a 3.5mm Jack because I have Jack earbuds that also aren't detected.
I read https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Professional_audio and https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/JACK_A … ection_Kit but they didn't really make sense to me. I remember reading a post that claimed switching some profile to professional fixed this problem, but it was a different headset and I don't know what a profile means.

Re: Jack headset not working

update: I got the headphones working, but my mic still doesn't work. I used alsamixer to unmute every channel i could (even the loopback mic one which let me hear myself) but strangely my mic doesn't work anywhere else and doesn't show any feedback on pwvucontrol
