asus vivobook keyboard backlight color

hello ive been looking for a solution for changing the color of my laptops keyboard color i seem to be able to change the brightness level just fine using the fn+f4 shortcut just fine but changing the color seems to be an impossible task, did anyone encounter this issue and has solved it or has any suggestions things to try, i have a vivobook s 14 if that helps
things i tried:
looked into many tools like openRGB
looked into the sys/kernel/debug/asus-nb-wmi

ive seen a couple comments on some forum posts expressing the same issue so this can also be a place to gather all the info ig...

I don't think those models expose color controls to the OS easily/directly, it's kind of a firmware limitation and those tools won't help if the firmware does'nt exposes to them.
