[SOLVED] Displayport Alt Mode Stopped working on Radeon 7900 XTX

Running KDE Plasma w/
Kernel: 6.18.2-arch2-1
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 7600X (12) @ 5.457GHz
GPU: AMD Radeon 7900 XTX

Prior to Yesterday I was running one of my monitors through the USB C port on my GPU.  I ran into an issue while tring to use my HTC Vive (stupid link box broke so now i have to plug the USB and HDMI directly into my Computer and only the power is coming from the link box, and I also had to revert mesa drivers, a tip i pulled from SteamVR Github Issue )
while troubleshooting the headset the monitor ended up going dark and i figured it was because the GPU only supports 3 outputs at a time and the HDMI for the headset was taking priority over the usbc. (i typically run my main monitor and my TV off of the regular displayport jacks and my second monitor off of the usbc for reasons)
so i swapped my second monitor and totally unplugged my tv.  turns out it still doesnt work even when nothing is plugged into the HDMI port.  I get the following when I plug it into my computer

I tried updating my system, including the mesa drivers I had reverted to no avail, and I tried reverting them again to the same result.  fwupdmgr provided no new updates.  Is there something else I might have borked while messing with my headset that would cause this issue? It is only the USB C port that has stopped working

At one point I also got this when I unplugged the adapter but I only saw this once, I havent been able to repeat it

UPDATE: Downgraded Kernel to 6.17.9 and it is working again
