Esetroot not part of Eterm

Is not Esetroot part of Eterm? I downloaded and installed Eterm via pacman, yet I cannot find Esetroot.
I could use fbsetroot ... but how do I do it? It does not want to load the background at all. Here is the command in the style ...

rootCommand: Esetroot ~/.fluxbox/backgrounds/blablabla.jpg

Even if I replace Esetroot with fbsetroot it does not work ...

Re: Esetroot not part of Eterm

try something like 'which Esetroot' or 'whereis Esetroot'
and have a look if there is some output like 'Esetroot: /path/to/Esetroot'
and fbsetbg just searches for a program to set the background eg: Esetroot bsetbg or maybe something from 'imagemagick'.

Strange ... I do pacman -S eterm as root. And it does not install eterm at all on the system. Should I compile it manually?

Do you get an error message?

Re: Esetroot not part of Eterm

Just to be sure, you're aware that the apps in the eterm packages all start with a capital E (i.e. Eterm, Esetroot)? You could try removing the package from the cache /var/cache/pacman/pkg and try reinstalling it.

Re: Esetroot not part of Eterm

Removed the package, reinstalled, and it works smile

But I think I like aterm better ... strange thing is ... I cannot set my own font at all.
It's my second time on linux so what "big" font should I use? I wear glasses and I want something big and good, much like the normal system console font. Any ideas?

Re: Esetroot not part of Eterm

Well, I don't know about aterm, but with urxvt you could put

urxvt.font: xft:terminus:size=15

or something in your .Xdefaults and you'd get a big, good font smile
