XP-Pen Macropad buttons get "stuck" while working.

Hiya.

Unsure if this is the correct place to put this but here goes.

I recently bought an XP-Pen Artist 16 Pro Gen 2. The graphics tablet and pen are great but i'm having issues with the included macropad that it comes with. I'm using the proprietary drivers for both of these, as I haven't looked much into how i would go about remapping the buttons on the macropad using something like OpenTabletDriver, which doesn't support remapping macropad buttons.

While working in Krita (the Steam version), the hotkeys will occasionally get stuck.The most common ones this happens with are Undo, Mirror and Pan. This is infuriating as every few minutes I'll see whatever i'm working on disappear in a matter of a few seconds because the Undo key gets stuck down.

I've tried asking around within some Krita subreddits and on the forums, to no luck. I was wondering if anybody knew the best way to debug an issue like this. I don't see anything in journalctl, or Krita logs, though i'm not exactly sure what i'd be looking for.

Maybe related, but there's also an issue with the rotating dial on the pad too. I have it set to zoom in and out, but if I rotate it too slowly it will zoom in and out erratically even if i'm only turning it in one direction.
