This is a small script that I made to quickly setup a desktop environment for Hyprland with some basic programs. It is intended to be used after running archinstall. Here are some of the things it does:
Update the package mirrorlist
Enable multilib packages
Run system update
Install packages (See packagelist in setup.sh)
Enable system services
Setup printer discovery
Install yay and vim-plug
The goal is to make an easy-to-use script that can be forked and customized to meet one's own needs.
Please tell me if you have any suggestions. I basically tried to make the installation wiki into a script.
If you ask, "Why did you do X instead of Y?", the answer probably is, I didn't know any better. Feel free to tell me here, or open a pull request.

Nice ricing [ but two white for my Owl eyes
], I guess some suggestions that you can consider:
There is a program called pywall that follows the colors of the wallpaper to put it in every application, maybe you are interested in that if you want to use more than one wallpaper in the future.
Kitty is fine, but sometimes since is python based it's a little bit slower. For watching things on the terminal like using LF/Ranger application it's fine until a certain degree, but for doing some intense work it can be slower in comparison to other terminals. For that things like Alacritty or other ones that currently now I'm not remembering well can reduce the job time a lot ![]()
str( @soyg ) == str( @potplant ) btw!

Thanks! I'm glad you like it. I generally prefer brighter themes during the day and darker themes at night. I am not sure if there is an elegant way to handle the transition/toggle with waybar and terminal emulators.
I think I have used pywall in the past. It's probably worth adding. Especially considering that it is on the official package repo.
I didn't realize it was python based. That's... interesting. It's probably fine, but I will keep an eye out for replacements if it feels slow. I don't really have a preference. But easy font scaling via a hotkey is my only concern right now. I am using it only because it was in the default example config for Hyprland.

The most elegant way I think is in this repo https://github.com/gh0stzk/dotfiles/tree/master
It's very anime based, but you can check the code and copy his ideas to put it in your stuff. I had made that in some cases with the rgb colors cuz their are kind of nice

Yep, well some persons really like it, I think that's more easy to do in Hyperland also, tbh ricing does takes time in dwm sometimes
, so i haven't tried the switching color schemes yet, but probably it's nice feature to add in the future to my setup
. I mostly use it for productivity ^^

Kitty is very easy to configure his dot files, and for general usage I think it's okey, maybe a little bloated but it's okey. I had watched a Chris Titus video were he compares alacritty with kitty If i'm not wrong and the performance was way too much doing hard working stuff. I was unable to find the video but I know that exists over the internet
. Replacement can be alacritty, ghostty if I'm not wrong, and foot also I think.
