My computer isn't the newest. In fact, opening several tabs in Firefox puts considerable strain on it. One of the things I love about Amarok is that playback is completely unaffected by this, and will continue uninterrupted even in high load situations.
Or should I say "was", since after the last update, Amarok stutters every time I load a website in Firefox? My last "pacman -Syu" loaded about 130Mb worth of updates, including the newest version of Amarok, but I can't remember what else.
Is the new problem simply a configuration issue that I can address easily?
Or is it simply due to a change that was made to Amarok, leaving me no recourse but to downgrade?
Or is it due to another package that was upgraded?
To answer the third question I could use some way to get my computer to tell me what was upgraded on pacman's last run.
I'm grateful for any replies.
EDIT: For whatever reason it works fine after a restart. Sorry for wasting your time.

I always roll 20s on my disbelieve checks.
You better believe it.

Hmmm. I'm not sure what might have caused it. It might be worth a try to downgrade and see if it was a simple amarok change or something another package changed??
Btw, o/t but cake rules ![]()

/var/log/pacman.log has all the details. Check if there was a kernel upgrade included in your 130MB, and if so, post the old and new versions.
