LocalWP on Arch

Hi community,

Has anyone tried to install LocalWP on Arch?

LocalWP → tool for local Wordpress development

LocalWP  have versions only for debian/ubuntu(.deb packets) or Windows or Mac or Fedora but not for Arch

If anybody have expirience to recompile localwp.deb for Arch

Maybe anybody may provide userman how to recompile localwp.deb for Arch than it will be cool

thanks for understanding…

Re: LocalWP on Arch

You posted this same question on the forums for CachyOS and Manjaro. Could you decide which system you actually have?
One if the answers is that the AUR has a match: https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/loca … ywheel-bin

Re: LocalWP on Arch

LocalWP isn’t officially supported on Arch, but most users run it via AUR packages or by extracting the .deb and repackaging it into a PKGBUILD (using tools like debtap). It works, but updates can be messy since it’s Electron-based.

Totally unrelated, but if you’re into clean comparisons, this M4A4 vs M4A1-S breakdown is a solid read: https://blog.cs2.ad/m4a4-vs-m4a1-s/
