Hi
I can run the google OS, and I can install Debian and Mint on the chromebook, but I am stuck at trying to install Arch.
So far...
Wouldn't run from a Ventoy USB, does run the installer from an old SDCard that had Rasberry Pi OS on.
dd the 1.4 gig ISO in Mint onto the scard, and it boots in the chromebook.
Manage to fdisk well enough to get...
mmcblk1p1 1G
mmcblk1p2 4G
mmcblk1p3 24.1G
Actually giving them a name, label and mnt point is something I fouled up, because
pacstrap -K /mnt base linux etc etc fails to find any mounted root partition to install on.
So guidance please.

What speakers? Where do they even come into picture here? Please consider focusing, while writing questions: they are all over the place.
So are you able to write the image or not? Half of the post is about you not being able to run the ISO, then it seems it works. But what really works is hard to tell, as you talk about RaspberryPI. Completely confusing, what you are actually running. Then you talk about installer, but then you mention fdisk… what are you actually doing? In which part of the installation guide are you? What have you done, exactly?
Please focus and write coherent posts.

Hi
Sorry for the rambling.
Update...
I am awaiting the completion of the "archinstall" command to complete and offer to reboot.
No doubt I will have more problems.

Especially being new to Arch you should avoid archinstall at all costs. It is not designed the way other distros' installers work.
