Changing Minecraft gpu used on KDE Plasma [SOLVED]

Hey, does anyone know how to set Minecraft(Java Edition) to use the discrete graphics card on an Arch Linux device with a KDE Plasma desktop and AMD cards? My Minecraft is currently using integrated graphics, which usually is fine, but I would like to use shaders without dropping immediately to 10 fps. The only guides I've found so far are either for Windows and or NVIDIA cards, or for Steam games only, so I'm kinda without much of a lead.

p.s. I have already tried checking "Run with dedicated graphics card" in the menu editor, but it doesn't seem to be doing anything.

The vanilla launcher doesn't support setting the dGPU. The checkbox in the menu editor of Plasma only sets the dGPU for the launcher itself, but not from processes spawned from it. Your best bet is to install prismlauncher, which features selecting a dGPU in its instance settings (and better settings and possible workarounds you might need in some cases).

Also Prismlauncher isn't built on Electron, but a native app, which runs more performant. And it features builtin profile (instance) management and you can install Mods, Modpacks and Resource Packs directly from it.
