Hi! It's been a while since I last posted over here. I am having some issues with a couple of old industrial mini PCs that were discarded in my workplace, as I am trying to give them some use. I plan on doing a separate post for each one, since the issues are different and the platforms themselves are quite different as well. The one I'm fighting with now is an AAEON PICO-EHL4 R1.1. Its specs are:
- CPU: Intel Celeron N5105 (Elkhart Lake)
- RAM: 4 GB LPDDR4
- Graphics: Intel Gen11
- Audio: Intel HDA
- Drive: mSATA SSD (128 GB) + eMMC (32 GB)
- Network: Dual Intel GbE
There are some other details, but I think this is the list with the most important stuff. I can boot the installation ISO, but it takes a long time in the ":: Triggering uevents..." stage, and then it shows an error saying "Timed out while waiting for udev queue to empty". It says "Welcome to Arch Linux", but the usual prompt never shows up, and I can't do anything at that point. I managed to install Debian 13, but it never displays any image after the first reboot. Any help would be highly appreciated.
