Before gut reaction calling me an idiot hear me out:
I’ve been using arch for about a year and a half now, and I was running an update while watching YouTube when my computer froze. It likes to do this when all the ram is allocated which happens a lot because I didn’t do swap correctly. Anyways, I shut down my computer (forgetting about the update) and turned it back on again only to be greeted with a kernel panic.
It gave me this panic report: https://panic.archlinux.org/panic_repor … -arch1-2&z
And the error "VFS: Unable to mount root fs to unknown block(0,0)"
I assume my system is completely borked but would like verification

You're going to need a an Arch install USB or similar. Boot it, mount all of your partitions, arch-chroot, and reinstall all things that were part of the failed update, especially the kernel package that you're using.
