Plasma not recognizing monitor, correct resolution after system update

I updated my system the other day and when I restarted my monitors no longer worked correctly. My TV is no longer recognized at all and my monitor is only available at 1024x768 resolution. I had issues with SDDM not starting and reinstalled several packages to be able to get into Plasma. I tried downgrading and reinstalling nvidia drivers and had no success using the downgrade AUR tool.

Below are my journalctl, dmesg and pacman -Qs 'nvidia|kernel' outputs.

journalctl: http://0x0.st/PmTT.txt
pacman -Qs 'nvidia|kernel': http://0x0.st/PmTA.txt
dmesg: http://0x0.st/PmTQ.txt

xrandr outputs this:
Screen 0: minimum 320 x 200, current 1024 x 768, maximum 4096 x 4096
None-1 connected primary 1024x768+0+0 (normal left inverted right x axis y axis) 0mm x 0mm
   1024x768      60.00*+

Re: Plasma not recognizing monitor, correct resolution after system update

What GPU do you have? Is it a 10xx series card or older? If so, the 590 NVIDIA drivers have dropped support for that architecture. You will need to install

nvidia-580xx-dkms

from the AUR.

Re: Plasma not recognizing monitor, correct resolution after system update

Thank you, I have already reinstalled and ended up installing those drivers and it worked. I believe this would have solved my problem without having to reinstall but alas, too late. Thank you again.
