Remapping GRUB menu navigation keys?

Hello.

I have a laptop with stage 5 keyboard cancer which renders some of its keys unpressable/not registering letters; including arrow keys.

Is there any way to remap the navigation keybind to select boot option? I use an external keyboard in the meantime, but i find it troublesome for each time i boot, i have to plug it in and then make it connect through bluetooth afterwards in the os. (unrelated)

Looking for workarounds or advices. Thank you in advance!

menuentry --hotkey might help, lets you define a key to jump to that menu entry

You can also try your luck with ^, v keys or Ctrl+n, Ctrl+p
