Hi,
I have weird issue on my ThinkPad T470s with a fully updated Arch Linux using KDE and Plasma 6.6. I also have installed WirePlumber.
When I exclusively use the mute keys on my ThinkPads keybord (Fn+F1 for speaker or Fn+F4 for microphone) they work fine, including the respective LEDs for the mute state and the state is also reflected in the Plasma widget or in pavucontrol. If I mute the speaker or the microphone via other ways, e.g. via the widget or via pavucontrol or via wpctl or via pactl, in the following weird things happen with the keybpoard keys:
When I mute the speaker and/or the microphone via either the widget or pavucontrol, pressing the respective keys does not unmute and the LED stays on and also the widget and pavucontrol stay muted. However, the OSD says, that the speaker or microphone has been unmuted. Pressing the key again and again, the OSD switches between muted and unmuted, however, the mute state does not change. I can only unmute again via the widget or pavucontrol. Any ideas why this could happen and how I could fix that?
Sorry for the maybe difficult to understand description. If there is any further information of interest, please ask.

It seems, this is a feature and not a bug, or at least this is still debated. See:

Let's see, where this goes. Sorry for the noise.
