Re: Cardreader

It should work out of box with .20 kernel. Insert card and check /dev/mmc*

It doesn't sad
I tried the drivers from  http://openfacts.berlios.de/index-en.ph … x21_driver but I saw that they are already in the kernel. Nothing is in the dmesg and when I insert the card and type ls /dev/mmc* he can't find anything. Dbus and Hal is installed and running and kde says nothing. Under Winblows the drive works so I know it isn't defect.

Any other idea ?

Re: Cardreader

Make sure to

# modprobe mmc
# modprobe mmc-block

After that look into /dev for mmc* files.

I started the following daemons with modprobe. One after the other :
tifm_7xx1
tifm_sd
tifm_core
mmc_block
mmc_core

When I insert the card ls /dev/mmc* and ls /dev/sd* both find nothin and when I start udevmonitor and insert the card, nothing happens.

Thanks for the next clue
